In this Coyote and Crow RPG Adventure, Miiginya returns to the place where his uncle was killed in order to recover his uncle’s remains. And discover what it was that killed him.
A community elder, Elder Kochoov, is missing and presumed dead. Disappeared during an ill-advised hunting expedition to the north along with the other members of his hunting party. All except one. The survivor, one of Elder Kochoov’s own family, his nephew Miiiginya.
Miiiginya was found scarred, frostbitten, and terrified by some trappers. No site of the rest of the party. Due to various head injuries, Miiiginya had trouble recalling the details of the trip into the valley. What he does remember is fragmented and vague. Basically, a fierce battle, an earthquake, and wandering. Lots of wandering looking for help.
When Elder Kastiki learned of the disaster and of Miiginya survival, he heads for the trapper’s village while assembling a rescue party. Once there, he pressures Miiginya on the details of the journey into the valley. But whether from the loss of memory or fear, Miiginya can’t provide any more details. Except that Miiginya believes he needs to return to retrieve Elder Kochoov body for burial and he needs KAstiku’s help.

Coyote & Crow RPG Adventure Overview
Chapter 1: Meeting at the Trading Post
Wosagic is a small trading outpost within the Masking. It was the last place Elder Kochoov’s party met before heading to the Valley. Now, it’s the place where Elder Kastiki Miiginya’s party gathers. The outpost, like most in the area, is a hodgepodge collection of traders, each looking to acquire goods and knowledge from those brave enough to explore the Masking.
The party that Elder Kastiki recruited gathers at the meeting hall located loosely within the center of the outpost. Well, the meeting hall, community center, tavern, the building is basically where the community gathers. There, Miiginya tells his tail to the party. And to others who may be listening.
Chapter 2: The Valley of Blackhollow
After squeezing through the crevice into the valley, you see the interior unfold in front of you. The trees are all twice as tall as they should have been, and the animals are all twice as big. It was like you’ve stepped into another world.
As you enter, you feel a slight breeze blowing. Songbirds singing. And an occasional cracking of dead branches. Then a whisper. Just a soft whisper that sounds like it’s on the breeze. One that sounds like: “Miiginya”.
Chapter 3: Blackhollow Lodge
Set deep within the valley, built into the sides of the valley walls itself, you find an old, hunting lodge. The lodge, built from stone and timbers, appears intact but is showing signs of decay and neglect. The footprints you have discovered though, lead right up to the front door.
