Bringing small business and students together to brainstorm and build a social media marketing plan.
Bootcamp provided an overview of what is content marketing and its relationship to social media, how to measure social media, and how to develop a strategic plan for social media. Als discussed was the process of developing content, measuring its success, revising, etc. will be a central theme.
Marketing, Communications, English and Fine Arts students will be paired with a representative from a small-medium size business for the duration of the workshop. Business owners will learn about the important role of content marketing, how to track online what is being said/written about your organization and your area of the industry, and how to develop a strategic plan for your organization’s social media. The outcome will be an understanding the cycle of how to develop content, track response to it, and revise it in the context of a strategic plan.
